With Halloween winding down, Thanksgiving is just over two weeks away, and while we all give up our spice latte reluctantly, the change of holiday season means another great time of the year is upon us: pancake season. That’s right, it’s pie time and now even Krispy Kreme is in on the action, releasing brand-new mini cupcakes just in time for gratitude season. On Monday, Krispy Kreme announced the arrival of four mini pie-inspired varieties of mini muffins that are perfect for a small snack or to share with friends, family and co-workers. The assortment includes Mini Pecan Pea Donut, Mini Pumpkin Bay Donut, Mini Lemon Cream Pie Donut, and Mini Apple Dutch Pie.

The mini muffins are available starting Monday, November 7, and are available in 16-count boxes for a limited time at participating stores across the U.S. Additionally, on November 18 and 19, those who purchase 16-count mini muffins Dozen Original Glazed can be added for just $1 to share even more joy.
• Mini Pecan Bay Donut: Mini Original Glazed® Donuts Topped With Sticky Butter Tart Filling, Chopped Pecans And Snickerdoodle Cookie Bits.
• Mini Pumpkin Pie Donut: A mini pumpkin pie filled bun, dipped in spiced pumpkin pie icing, topped with Snickerdoodle Bits and a dollop of Creamy™.
• Mini Donut Lemon Cream Pie™: Small cake stuffed with lemon, dipped in icing and covered with a dollop of Cream™ and sprinkled with powdered sugar.
• Mini Dutch Apple Pie Donut: A mini donut with apple filling, dipped in caramel flavored cream and topped with cinnamon, snicker doodle cookies and caramel flavored icing drizzle.
And Krispy Kreme’s pie mini muffins aren’t the only mini muffins in the holiday game this year, either. The Blue Moon Brewing Company on Monday also announced its own line of mini pies, Blue Moon Pints. The brand has teamed up with little bakery queen Melissa Ben-Ishai for a batch of mini pies created to pair perfectly with three Blue Moon beers, just in time for Thanksgiving.
